My Boltblue Code of Conduct
My Boltblue is a social networking product of Boltblue Communications Limited and its affiliates (“Boltblue”). My Boltblue connects users with friends, family, and people with a common interest so that they can share experiences by means of blogging, sharing information, photos and videos within the social network.
We want My Boltblue to be a safe environment where people have fun and respect the rights and feelings of others, including third party intellectual property rights and do not use the network for any illegal activity. With this in mind, we have established this code of conduct that sets out the rules of use for My Boltblue.
When you use our services, you are agreeing to abide by our Terms of Use, and this code of conduct. If you fail to adhere to the Terms of Use, and the code of conduct, it may result in the suspension or termination of your user account and/or the deletion of content from the My Boltblue social network with or without notice at the sole discretion of Boltblue.

Third Party Content
My Boltblue allows you to upload and share user generated content which includes photographs, images, videos and text entries from your PC, laptop, webcam, or mobile phone. You may only upload and share original content of a personal nature, this includes images, photographs, text entries and videos of:
- Yourself
- Your friends
- Images taken/created by yourself or friends
- Original content created by yourself or friends
If using friends’ content, you must ensure that you have permission to do so
My Boltblue is made available for the use of original content only and therefore you may not upload or share images, photographs, text entries, video or any other content that is NOT original, that you DO NOT have the permission to use such as episodes of TV shows, films, music videos, photography, art/images, text files, trademarks or other content that infringes upon or violates the copyright, trademark rights of others or other third party rights.
Inappropriate Content
My Boltblue is a social network where users can express themselves, share their points of view and content. However certain kinds of content are not acceptable. By using the Boltblue products and services you agree not to refer to, upload or share any content that:
- Is offensive, derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, abusive, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, hateful, racist, sexist or homophobic
- Depicts, promotes, makes fun of graphic or gratuitous violence
- Bullies, intimidates, threatens, or harasses anyone
Illegal, Harmful Content And/Or Conduct
We want My Boltblue to be a safe online and mobile home for its users and although as service providers we are not responsible for the conduct and content of users we have established this code of conduct that must be adhered to for the benefit of all users.
When using My Boltblue you will not:
- Engage in any bullying, predatory, or stalking conduct
- Misrepresent yourself in anyway. This includes: impersonating another person or entity and misleading users with regards to your age and gender.
- Create more than one account profile
- Use another person’s account without consent
- Upload and/or share personal details of a third party such as contact details, passwords, identification or any other material that may be deemed private information.
- Upload any material that may contain software viruses
- Attempt to use computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or interfere with Boltblue products and services, users’ accounts, computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment
- Use your account or anyone else’s to solicit unauthorised advertising and/or promotional material, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes or any other form of solicitation that is unauthorised
- Conduct or encourage behaviour that violates local, state, national or international law.
We expect users to use good judgement and common sense when sharing content and interacting with other users. If you suspect any user to be abusing the My Boltblue social network in violation of this code of conduct and our Terms of Use in any way, please report them using the report abuse buttons on their profile or by contacting the Boltblue Customer Services Team Direct on 0870 0209 312 (national rate) or help@boltblue.com.
This code of conduct is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Boltblue.
